USA should have been the standard Polygram Video reference incremented by 1: 083 751-1 and it was... but only in 1993, pressed by DADC USA:

First we got a 1992 US release that was a strange mash-up made of:

• The UK cover with the PAL logo covered with a NTSC sticker
• The Japan LD (PHLS-1001-A01-P mint marks to prove it) but ... with an oversized disc label to cover these mint marks!

One would assume that the first US release would be pressed by DADC USA like other title at the time... but they got delayed or ran into technical issues and decided to import the Japan pressing until they were ready to produce locally?

Weird about the US releases. I have the Japanese release, so I never really thought about any of the others.

I do hate it when they put that bar on the side with an image of a part of an LD. I guess they were trying to show people that it wasn't an LP?
