Back in the mid eighties I bought this LD.

Now That's What I Call Music Video: vol.01 (1983) [MP139-15VN]

Fine at first, then white speckles. Audio, Okay. I no longer have that disc.

Bought a used copy and it has colored speckles, plus distorted audio.

Sadly the Virgin Video releases under Pioneer MP___-__VN do not age well.

The one thing about it that I forgot to add was.,

I'm playing it and I hit the wrong button on the remote. I hit pause and the still frame I'm seeing has no visible rot anymore. So I do an 8X backwards and every still image has no rot. Weird. Never saw that before...

I've been able to find perfect playback copies of Japan, XTC and Now 1 from that series but you'll need to buy lots of copies.
