Well, I'm stumped here. I bought a 5" CD Video disc on eBay, and it'll play the CD portion fine (indeed on any player), but in my Pioneer CLD-1750 it just refuses to recognise the video portion, despite playing the 8" and 12" CD Video discs with no issues. So, I bought another title on 5" CD Video, just to see if I had a dodgy disc, but no, this one doesn't play the video either. What gives? It states PAL (I'm in the UK) and Video on the screen, but churns around and starts to play the music tracks instead. Discs tested... They’re all rotted. All the PAL ones anyway. This is very common knowledge. Don’t buy any more PAL CDVs. |
