Sometime ago I acquired the following ET/VideoLink Wet Seal promo music laserdiscs from Ebay:

Whilst on the surface there is nothing particularly unusual about promo music laserdiscs (I own hundreds of them) these Wet Seal LDs seem a little different from the others.
First they have no chapters breaks on any of the discs - these are the only promo music LDs that I've ever seen were like this as all the other ETV discs in the series (Oldies, Dance, Hot, Store & Country) have chapter breaks. I can understand why they maybe didn't bother as these were probably destined to only be played back on satellite broadcasts but it is a little odd still given none of the others omitted the chapter breaks.
These are all single sided LDs however they featuring 16-17 videos which is more than the other ETV discs. The tracks themselves are also extremely varied and quite unusual. By way of example one discs contains bands like Urge Overkill, The Doors, Elastica, The Byrds, Sister Sledge, Nancy Sinatra, The Beatles, Gin Blossoms & the Bee Gees just to quote a few. Another disc contains artists like Fiona Apple, Savage Garden, Shawn Colvin, DC Talk, Blur & Morcheeba alongside Wild Cherry (the 70's funk band), Spice Girls, Depeche Mode and Village People! If that isn't varied enough for you then another disc includes The Fugees, Beck, The Lemonheads, No Doubt, Stone Temple Pilots, mixed with Blondie, The Clash, New Order, Tom Petty and James Brown!
Other than the fact there are no chapter breaks I really like these discs as they are just so dam varied!
Does anyone else have any of these Wet Seal ETV LDs and also what is the significance of the 'Wet Seal'?
