I was rummaging through my laserdisc collection and found another superb thrash metal title: Suicidal Tendencies: Lights Camera Suicidal [ESLU-119]I bought this shortly after I started collecting laserdiscs in 2006 and I have to admit I've never seen another copy anywhere in the world! Does anyone else own this one?

Dirty Rotten Imbeciles (D.R.I) changed their style to thrash metal in 1987 for their Crossover album. Amazingly there is a laserdisc from this period which captured them live at the Ritz!:

I suspect you are right! Definitely a strong candidate for most unlikely band to have been released on laserdisc!

A few more that probably fall into this general music category are the following: These discs contain bands like Rock Goddess, Venom, Warlock, Thor, Dianno, Wrathchild etc.

Found a few more speed metal laserdiscs in my collection: The Grim Tales laserdisc in particular is amazingly rare. It features the likes of Rage, Kreator, Coroner, Tankard, Mordred, D'Priest, Rights of the Accused, Killing Joke etc. I've never seen another copy of that one anywhere at any price.

None of the Metallica laserdiscs are particularly rare or difficult to obtain: The colour black is the consistent theme throughout all of the releases.

Found a few more alternative metal titles worthy of mentioning: The Video Meltdown LD was a US only release featuring the best of Metal Blade's bands such as D.R.I., Lizzy Borden, Fates Warning, Candlemass, Armored Saint, Anvil, Trouble, Masi and b**ch. The Japanese only LD 'Video Sheetmetal' features bands like Death Angel, Pantera, Coffin Break, Anacrusis, Trouble, Jane's Addiction, The Coup De Grace etc.

peti9 wrote: Wow! Those FNM discs are superrare!! You have so far the most impressive music LD collection I have seen. The Faith No More titles (particularly Video Croissant) are very tough to find, but not in the same league as this one: Sabbat - The End of the Beginning: This is another classic thrash metal title from the infamous TELP series of laserdiscs licensed from FOTODISK Ltd., UK.
