There are some great heavy metal laserdiscs available featuring the late Ronnie James Dio.

First the PAL (left) and NTSC (right) editions of Black Sabbath live in 1980 featuring Ronnie on vocals and Vinnie Appice who would both go on to form the hugely successful group Dio. There are 7 live Black Sabbath tracks on that LD and it also features 7 tracks by the band Blue Oyster Cult hence the name Black & Blue:
Black Sabbath & Blue Oyster Cult: Black and Blue [791 549-1]
Black Sabbath & Blue Oyster Cult: Black and Blue (1980) [WPLP-9102]

Then a classic 1983 Dio concert from Holland was issued on laserdisc from the early part of their career featuring Vivian Campbell on guitar:
Dio: Live '83 Rinne Tensei (1983) [TE-D055]
Dio: Live in Concert [040 365-1] - This is the PAL version of Dio: Live '83 Rinne Tensei.

Also available is the 1984 live from at the Spectrum concert - also featuring Vivian:
Dio: Special from the Spectrum [G78M0073]

In 1985 Ronnie formed the charity band Hear 'N Aid to release the single 'Stars' for famine relief in Africa. 40 artists from the hard rock music community gathered at A&M Records Studios to participate in the making of the record. The 'Stars' single coupled with the album, a video documentary on the making of the record and other ancillary products raised money for famine relief efforts in Africa and around the world. Dio shared the role of lead vocals with Rob Halford, Kevin DuBrow, Geoff Tate and Don Dokken, just to name a few.

For the Dio completist you may also like to seek out the rarest release of all - Dio Super Rock 85 live concert which was only released on the VHD format and not LD:
Dio: Super Rock '85 in Japan [VDS-M0131]

The accompanying tour program for Super Rock 85 is also shown below which featured Dio, Foreigner, Mama's Boys, Rough Cutt, Sting and Earthshaker.

There are also some Dio videos available on promotional and jukebox LDs.

I'm a fan of Dio myself and would love to have these on Laserdisc. They are too expensive for me, but collectors item. If you own these, take good care of them. :D
