These are some sad news for sure. I listened to him last night during work. Hearing Cat People, Life on Mars and The Man who Sold the World always puts me in a good mood.

His final album was released only three days ago (on his 69th birthday), at least if you live in Europe. May him rest in peace.

Very sad news indeed.

A prolific, polymorphic and experimenting musician and artist.

He's leaving quite many LDs for us to keep the music alive:

Also an actor, writer and producer. He's on some LD releases there as well: Bowie movies

RIP David Jones.

Had not heard of his passing until viewing this thread.

He gave so much, he performed with an honest expression delivered over so many years.
What a gifted man, thank goodness he had the courage to go out into the world and share his music.

You will be missed David ..........

Yes, it is sad that I learned of his passing this morning while reading this forum. I liked his music. I have 2 LD's by him: Glass Spider Tour and the 8" music video featuring the songs Let's Dance, China Girl and Modern Love. I have 2 versions of the 8" LD" one with digital/analog stereo and the other with analog stereo only.

He will be missed.

that is rather shocking. The year is still new. I guess it was his time to go but still it seems rather sudden.

his pants are too tight in labyrinth. oh well. he fit rather nicely in the man who fell to earth. I also manage to read the book the book and realize how well the movie work with him as the alien.

RIP

Unbelievable.
Tough it turned out he had liver cancer...
I don't know, i found 'Blackstar' already a bit macabre video, but now even more.
I rather watch his early videos, though 'Look back in Anger' looks also a bit grim now.

I somehow got a strange feeling that Tina Turner will be next.
