| Post subject: | Chinese music discs? |
I used to live in Chinatown NYC and the shops were always filled with Chinese music discs. I never bought any so I don't know how many were karaoke, etc., but they usually just featured one singer (face photo or name with a music CD-like cover), like they were music video discs. But the LDDB has scant info on any such discs. I flipped through hundreds of different LDs in a few shops, but LDDB only lists about 80(?) Hong Kong karaoke discs and about 10 music video discs. Any idea what they were? |

From what I remember they were also Vietnamese down there. I went into a shop and they were all karaoke but this was at the tail end of LD. When I saw them at the earlier days they were rental. |
