Here are some A-ha music laserdiscs to collect:

Image

The first editions have the side strip OBI.

The second editions which were much cheaper when released have the top OBI.

There is also a PAL edition of the Hits available which is not pictured as it is missing from my collection.

The one on the far right bottom row was a Laserdisc Compact Audio/Video Album featuring three videos and the complete audio tracks of their debut album.

The live in South America laserdiscs are the most valuable presumably because they have not been re-issued on DVD or Blu-ray to date.

Hello laserdisc_fan,

Thank you for posting pictures of these on the forum.

I have quite a few of their CD albums, and enjoy the music.

I would like to own some more music Laserdisc's to my collection at some stage.

A-HA would be a great addition to my collection.

Thanks

it is a very good disc and played well on my cld 925 laserdisc player.

As far as the promo videos, get the DVD PCM sound release of Headlines and Deadlines. I see that they have a new live concert release in Blue Ray, may be interesting.

Yeah the blu-ray disc 'Ending on a High Note: Final Concert' is superb quality - both picture and sound.
As with laserdiscs I collect many of the blu-ray music titles as well.

I've been an a-ha fan since '85 with their first album. I remember being in one of the few stores here in my town and holding the Live in South America LD and was tempted to buy it even though I didn't have a player. Wish now I had bought it as these are hard to find. Great collection!
