I would be very surprised if it wasn't transferred direct to PAL for the video releases, as Europe and Australia were a major Queen market. Whether the NTSC version would also have been transferred from the film, or was a PAL->NTSC conversion, I don't know... they were very popular in Japan and South America, less so in North America.

Well if it was shot on film, a PAL version would then be sped up 4% so you'd definitely want an NTSC version. And as for your original question, the answer is obvious; you must buy all three.
