Hello, I see you posted a similar query on a YouTube video of that machine! It looks interesting, a combined Karaoke LD player & amplifier.

The Pioneer LK-V31 is in the database here, but not the LK-V310 - but not sure what the difference is, a cursory glance shows them to have a similar appearance.

What do you want to know about it...? Have you got it running and playing discs?

Usually adding a 0 to the Japanese model was used as the model # in the USA.

That would be confirmed here.

I got it to play and then seem to be stuck on a loop, then I pressed something and it auto switched to aux/mono setting. Now I can’t seem to get it to auto switch over. Instruction on the unit would be nice! I was able to take the ld out manually and swapped a video disc in but it didn’t auto switch anything. Thanks for the feed back much appreciated! Not bad thrift store find it came with matching pioneer tower speakers

I'm not sure what you mean by stuck in a loop - do you mean you saw a single frame or couple of frames repeated? Or that it was repeating one whole chapter/song?

I don't know anything about Karaoke players, but one like this, intended for use in a commercial environment, is presumably designed to just play one track at a time, when a token is inserted.

Was the first disc you tried a karaoke disc, and the second a film?

Concerning your earlier question, you can post photos here but they need to be a fairly small file size - so use Windows Photos (if you're on Windows) to save them out at a lower resolution, 1024x768 will do, as a jpg. You could also create an 'unlisted' YouTube video of what you're seeing, and post it here.

I had a look around and couldn't find any manuals or service manuals for this player.

But I think it's fair to say that, rightly or wrongly, there's not quite as much love for Karaoke players in the LaserDisc community as for 'normal' players, so they are a little neglected...

Sorry for the late reply, stuck in a loop as in it played a disc ( not a karaoke disc ) and then maybe after a minute, min 1/2 it seem to play the same 5 seconds. You can set the machine to free play so no tokens are required. I’m wondering if it only plays karaoke disc? Thank you for the help! I didn’t even know what a laser disc was until I found this

Sounds like typical broken amusement gear, I used to pickup other pieces when doing arcade machines, some juke boxes etc.
Always broken and waste of time.

Your issue sounds like belt, broken gear or something that won't allow the disc or laser to move forward.
Could even be something like a transition screw to hold the mech in place.

May not be worth it for such a player.

Any LDs should play in this, oh I wonder if its getting stuck on chapters due to it being an industrial karaoke player, wonder if you need
to change dip switches and it will play the track and shut down?
