Post subject:  What do you think price wise - Older LD Player
I have an old LD 1100 which is pretty cool and plays perfectly, and is in just about the same shape. I have it listed at 125 dollars or so. Someone offered me 70 for it, because the price of shipping. What do you think. Take it, or wait as it is top loading and is pretty cool. I have yet to see another.

I’ve got my eye on another cinema processor at the moment really cheap price shhh not saying what processor :mrgreen: and I was quoted from USA to UK $110.00 dollars and when converting the cost in ($ dollars to £ pounds) I’m laughing £70.00 yeah that sounds about and the unit will be a little less in weight a little shy smaller in size to the laserdisc player so I guess within the US $50.00 or less dollars and overseas around $130.00 or so due to size/weight seems like a realistic shipping price for a Laserdisc player.

Personally, I would take the offer. I'm guessing that the older '80s LD players aren't much in demand. (I'm surprised someone would even spend $70 for it!) If I'm wrong, and these players really are prized, then by all means reject the offer and hold out for a better deal.

I think it depends who is wanting it. If I was looking for a specific model older player and found one in good condition (not roughed up as some are) with only actual shipping costs, I would probably pay more for it to get it, than I would a newer player.

I think I will take the guys offer, you are all right, i mean I got it in a ld trade so my in on it isnt to much. It is a beautiful model with the remote ;)
