I just won "buy it now" auction for a Pioneer CLD-97 with RF mod in good to very good cosmeticly, fully functional internally, along with mint cond. lexicon ldd-1 and 300+ Laserdiscs for $600 local pickup:) I think I got an excellent deal. I paid $700 for my McIntosh some year ago and about $90 for my Lexicon ldd-1 recently. So I am getting both for $190 less plus 300+ LDs. I dont have the complete list yet but the seller said True Lies, Casper, Shadow DTS editions. Godfather 1901 set, luney tunes all 5 vols are among them |

Pio 97 is modded for rf by msb technologies and had a recent tune/tweak up by kbahr. Collection includes many sealed titles. Looney tunes vol 1-5 in mint(except vol 2 has split on outer box) art of tom jerry vol1-3 in mint.twilight zone vol 1 in mint, many disney titles,star wars definitive,special editions and phantom menace, 5 universal sig edition(3sealed).true lies,babe,shadow,casper in dts mint. Austin powers 2 in ac-3ex in mint. I think i can sell some of these and make up for what i paid for the player and lexicon modulator. |

Sweet deal! I never see the Looney Tunes boxes go for less than $30 each and are usually listed much higher. The Vol. 5 is very pricey (not sure why it's so rare). BTW, how to you like your McIntosh player? |

I see that art of tom and jerry vol 3 for high prices and looney tunes vol 5. I have 2 looney vol 1 and 2 tom and jerry vol 1 so those are for sale of course. Mcintosh is the same as cld97. Has rf out added by mcintosh. Beautiful to look at. |

I think it's also due to this set was released much later and probably less were sold. It's funny how if you look at all the volumes the number of owners decreases pretty steadily for each additional release. 104 members have vol 1 but only 33 have vol 5. |

looney tunes box sets: when new i only bought 1 and 2, i had to get the rest used on the bay. 5 was really limited and didn't make that many, also anyone who has it knows the box is thinner and more prone to damage than 1-4 making it harder to find in better condition. |
