I guess it would be my current one - Runco LJR II. Picture is really nice. Doesn't seem to have the right side cutoff that plagued earlier Runcos and LX-900s thankfully. Initially I thought not having an onboard D/A converter would be a drawback, but when you're hooking it up to a decent receiver, it becomes a non-issue. |

It's kind of hard to say what is my favorite player as every player I own has a certain characteristic that makes them special. So I'll try to keep it simple in picking my first love and that would be my Pioneer, CLD-3030. ![]() It's still a awesome player in respect to build quality, design (look how thin it looks compared to the DVD player below it), ergonomics (lots of buttons on the front panel) and check out the door.... ![]() The whole display along w/ the center set of buttons drop down for tray access. Now that is a cool look that does a great job of hiding the fact that it's an LD player. Pioneer also did this with the CLD-1030, CLD-2070, CLD-3070, CLD-91, and CLD-92 (US models). |
