Post subject:  Need Help with How to Clean my laserdisc tray.
Hi everyone,

Long-time lurker and love the site but I really needed help and looked everywhere and could not find an answer. There is a smudge-like thing on my laserdisc tray and I can't wipe it off and don't want to make it worse. How do you clean the tray and clean off the smudge-like thing? Any help or advice would be appreciated.

What player is this about?
I remember someone trying to clean his HLD-X9 tray, and it turned out it had this special coating that came off and it was not usable anymore afterwards.
