Lucky you! I'd love to have a LD changer. I could program an entire convention's worth of anime in one go...

O, this is so awesome!
If you'd be a popmusic lover you could now also watch all of your cdv's/vsd's in a row then :) .
(The ld + 5cd player can 'only' play 5).

It will be part of my livingroom and I will fill it with music discs (video clips or live recordings :) )
The beast was still holding 37 Karaoke discs when it came in....

She's clean now..... It looks like she's fully functional.... I will test it and make some more photo's ;)

 WOW!!!!!

Amazing condition, what a find.

There can't have been that many made, surely can't be many, if any left - your unit is perhaps unique now.

Thank-you for posting the pictures, some of the rear - sides - front - top - everything please!!!

Again, thanks & WOW!!!!!

Well....

It works.
But I'm going to let go of it...
Downside of this system is: It can't play continiously...
It stops after every track. You can program multiple tracks and it will play them, but when you selected track 1 and 2 from 1 disc, playback is intermitted between the tracks.
It can be used for Karaoke discs, or discs with videoclips (it will make a great jukebox), but it's not suitable for live concerts or movies (except for the discs that don't have a track index)

If anybody is interested, let me know.... It can go for almost no charge :P

Man, you're in the same country as me, and this is so incredibly tempting, but I don't have anywhere to put it right now >.< maybe if I'm lucky when I move in a couple of weeks... but that's still uncertain.

Then again, I guess I'd rather just have a proper working player in general. Although this would be absolutely awesome to have ^^

Where are you at?

I could hold it for a few weeks if you want... And maybe we can work something out for transportation.
It's the machine only, with manual and remote. No screen of discs!

I went to see the same unit a year ago in Bredene Belgium by the sea....

Did you get it there?
I remember the front panel missing from the controller along with the wooden door :!:
seller offered it to me along with a bunch of really old PAL/Secam discs in terrible condition.
I refused to buy it since it wasn't in good condition.

I contacted Pioneer for spare parts on these units.... not a single bolt available for it sadly
It looks very 8-) but I don't regret not buying it. I lacks all outputs that I want/need.
I can see how it would make a great laserjukebox

Enjoy it

This one was in Wolvega, they head it standing for about 17 years after they got it from a club in Utrecht.
I cleaned it and tested it... It works perfect ;)
It's in pretty decent shape but like most of hese changers, the door is missing and a small cap from the controller is missing.
But it's complete with manual and infra red remote control ;)

I think this is a setting -- there is a way to make it play continuously. It may not be an obvious one, though.

Yeah I'd look at the manuals for this thing. There's gotta be some tweak or hack...

... interestingly from the first four pages on manualcenter's manual for it ($5us), it came in a PAL/NTSC combo version.
