Because of a phpBB3 limitation to poll options at 127, I will split the Pioneer LD list in 3 posts.

I will be a future owner of a CLD-D750, so I put in my vote in advance.

I have the CLD-V2120D, not a particularly glamorous player but not bad for the 1p (around 2 US cents) I paid for it.

Yesterday, I got an CLD-D515 so I voted for that one. Although it lacks some features its a pretty decent player otherwise

My main player is the Pioneer CLD-D704, as well as a spare 704. Then I have a CLD-D606 on the basement system.

One of my main players is an EAD TheaterVision - does that count as a Pioneer CLD-99 or as an EAD?

Although I realize the EAD is 99.99% a Pioneer CLD-99 I didn't know if it should be considered one since EAD changed its looks so drastically and aimed it more as a custom audiophile/videophile player - The TheaterVision's, along with EAD's Theatermaster processors, were used for QC-ing AC-3 discs by most of the studios and Dolby Labs until THX started complaining that 'favoritism' was being shown to EAD - not that THX would have minded if it had been them. Of course, THX didn't start complaining until the TheaterVision passed THX LD player certification and then EAD decided to forgo THX licensing due to the per-player royalties. Then THX had a problem with the player being used for quality control checks of discs.

CLD-99 is my vote too - I guess I didn't make that clear in my explanation of why I wasn't quite sure what player to vote the EAD as. Even the Runco LJR is still just a Panasonic LX-900 to me. Of course, I never claimed to be the brightest bulb in the pack.

New to the site... A few months ago I decided it would be cool to use 12" vinyl soundtracks in frames as movie posters in my theater room, to save space. I bought "Goodfellas" on Laserdisc and didn't realize it until I got home. I remembered my Uncle has one of these he bought when they first came out back in '85-ish. He paid $1,200 for the Pioneer CLD-1090, and when I asked him if I could use it, he just gave it to me. Well, today I was at Goodwill and scored a Pioneer CLD-D550 for $9.99. So now I have one for the bedroom! As for the collection so far?
-Goodfellas
-Back To The Future
-Back To The Future III
-Cannonball Run
-Cannonball Run II
-Caddyshack
-Aladdin
-Jurassic Park
-Cheech and Chong's Up In Smoke
-Jackie Brown
-Terminator 2 Judgement Day

I've owned a CLD-D925 for a year, but its being repaired right now. So I'm using my back up Elite CLD-59 at the moment.

I wonder why DVL-919E is not mentioned, because there are many differences between a DVL-919 and a DVL-919E: it is not just NTSC or PAL/NTSC, it is also the available connectors: the DVL-919 has component video output for DVD content, and features like LD-G ...

I no longer own any of the models that I have chosen.
How do we remove the selected choices now.
Thanks,

Hello!

Can you see the checkboxes you can unselect and the "Vote" button to update your votes?

OK I wanted to just removed and not vote as I don't have the players.
But I guess the only way is to select None of These.
Thanks,
