My CLD-D702 easily bests my DVL-700 in PQ. The 702 looks quite good in all areas, while the 700 is quite smeary and undefined. Switching between the two makes this really apparent, so I try to forget about the image when playing ac3 discs. |

Since I don't have a capture card, I had to set up my camera on a tripod in front of my Toshiba LCD set, but here are 3 pics from my MSB modified DVL-700... although they are a bit blurry with some aliasing beats between the LCD pixels and the camera, you can see the color resolution and noise-free image, etc... I wish I could have gotten better pics, but these will have to do for now. Physical & Landslide are from the Japanese digital LD and Soul Kiss the Japanese LD release. Well look at this! the movie twister on my Pioneer dvl-919E and my pioneer kuro 50 inch,pic made with a iphone 3gs (  )The right setup and good filter makes a hell of a diff!

I really really really want a Kuro, been watching out for a used one for quite some time, but they are still crazy expensive (at least in this country). |

You can pickup à 42 inch 2008 model kuro between 600 and 800 euro in NL and the 50 and the 60 inch versions are around 1300 to 1800 Keep in mind that the new Panasonic neo plasma has adopted the pioneer kuro tech and raster controll.Seen this the otherweek in action. Even tho i am not à Panasonic fan the blackness and prestine scharpness,rich colours really had me go

i saw a Pioneer Kuro for sale at a indoor fleamarket here in nashville, didn't even ask for a price since it won't fit into my station wagon or apartment. i think it was a 4.3 and it was at least a 50 inch possibly larger. |
