hi, I currently own a Sony Muse player, for some reason the tray doesn't open straight away when powered on, it takes up to 10 attempts maybe more but eventually goes in, does anyone know what this may be and can it be fixed? |

I have the Japanese service manual in electronic form, & I could upload it for Julien to post, but I really don't know how much good that would do you. The tray mechanism on this player is kind of odd. My first look would be at the microswitches, & second I would try moving the flap that covers the disc tray by hand while the player is trying to open. Does it make a straining noise? |
