of all the places I've been to in the states, i think New Orleans must have been the most liberal city when it came to drinking and smoking; you could run around drinking and smoking everywhere, was quite pleasing, especially coming from a country that only have state owned liquor stores that are only open on weekdays (and a few hours on Saturdays), and the only alcoholic beverage you can buy outside of those stores are beer at max 4,7%, also prices on spirits and wine are outrageously high, the cheapest jack Daniel's Tennessee 1L would set you back about 100 dollars O_o

cpix wrote: a LD-S2 on ebay now, for $995 buy it now, seems a bit stiff. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Pioneer-Elite-L ... 0846460720I would say, considering the composite jack is inoperable. More like a $200 player considering you need that composite output on the S2. It being the best feature of the S2, not the S-video as the seller suggests.

It also needed some critical mechanical alignments for optimum play so in the end they may have saved a little but then they get the player in 100% tip top playing condition.

mikeystoyz wrote: I have to admit, that is pretty cool. Nice player and in like new shape. Now, shipping was killer, lol. If you're still talking about the X1 the new owner is in the L.A. area so I "assume" he picked it up. Then the shipping from CA to WA isn't too bad (not like from east to west coast). AND, I didn't charge any extra for my aching back
