I'm thinking of selling my backup player - a Pioneer LD-S9. What is the current "going price" for this unit (it is mint condition with original box, remote and voltage converter). Around may there was one on ebay. Seller was located in japan so the shipping was $200+. It was buy it now for $700. It sold within a week. You should be able to get $900+ ship for fast sale. You can ask as high as $1200+ship but may not as quick. If its a 1999+ model year player with new logo,it may be worth more. |

DiscCollector the going price will be what someone will pay for it  only you can decide on what a resonable starting bid and buy it now price will be. due to what you originally paid for it.

I've been wondering about this my self, but i have modified my s9 to be in the case of a cld-79, cause it looks a hell of a lot better, but not sure if that's a good or a bad thing when it comes to selling it. |

Sorry, I'm new here, so perhaps this is a dumb question: Is there a place to list it for sale here? Are we allowed to post For Sale items on this forum? (or is it against rules?) Or do I post it to eBay, and just let people here know about it? I want to do what's proper or typical for the forum. Thanks! |

Thanks! a sale/trade thread has been requested earlier, but if you want to get most for your money, i would suggest adding it on ebay and making a thread here with the link to your ebay listing (and I don't think its against the rules to post threads with sales -- just not sure where it would fit the best, either here or in the general laserdisc-sub forum). =) |
