So, as the topic says. I was initial thinking about buying a video processor to improve picture quality, but oh my lord, the picture quality with the krp-500m is AMAZING! I doubt you can extend the picture quality a lot more with other processors (maybe the crystallio 2 could do some), but its just like watching an extremely good dvd, or even better at times (obviously depending on the movie pressing). the krp500 have adjustable YC-sep and all the denoising features you'd want in a monitor. Anyone else have experience with this? i feel like im living in heaven!

Good day cpix, I have the Pioneer KURO 6090 connected to my HLD X9 and even thou all of the settings have not been completed I am wowed by the picture quality of the LD play back. I shall eventually be purchasing a scaler of some sort with SDI input and it will be interesting to see if there will be any increase in clarity. Obviously this will only go so far but, would be happy as I appreciate the Laserdisc format for what it offers. I invested heavily into the Laserdisc format in it's day and have many back up players to take care of my needs. If money was no object I would go for the crystallio 2 but cannot see this happening any time soon, as I have plenty of other things to purchase including 7 balanced cables from WireWorld Silver Reference Analogue audio cables. I enjoyed reading your post Thank you

Good afternoon nllaserdiscnl, I have no idea where to look or what it is, have looked on google. . . . Have no idea. If you could get me this card then I would pay you extra for your time. I do not have any MUSE titles at present because most of them cost an arm and a leg, let alone the Muse decoder that is needed, ect more exorbitant money needed in order for me to get that far, and not to mention that I need to spend 1,600 for the balance cables that I require to connect my LEX MC12B to the LX7 Amp. Thank you for mentioning this thou. I am not having a good day and have had a really bad very early start, so my apologies for this reply to your kind message. Regards to you

substance wrote: I have the pro-141fd signature edition which is similar to krp-600m but it does not have a tuner or speakers(or pedestal). I am using a mcintosh mld7020's composite out into crystalio 2. I watched the grumpy old man squeeze ld the other day, I would rank the video quality above dvd. Just as sharp as dvd but no compression artifacts and a fine film grain which gives it more of a film look. sounds very sweet, ONE day i will try to afford a crystallio, unless i start a life of crime and steal one, you never know hehe
