Another question about players:

Does anybody here know how good a DVL-9 is compared to the european DVL-909 ...or my old trusted CLD 925?

From what I understand, the DVL-9 is the Japanese equivalent to the DVL-700 (except with LD-G and CD+G capabilities), which makes it an average to above average LD player, and a crappy DVD player. Not sure how the 700 and 909 compare though. I've heard that the 909 is a better LD player than the 919, but that's about it. The 909 also has VCD playback as well--something the 700 doesn't have.
