So, I wrote up this guide. It's supposed to be comprehensive, including NTSC, PAL, AC-3, dts, & MUSE. I'd appreciate any comments — could it be clearer? is there anything important I've left out? |

Maybe... A) Why a person may (or) may not want to use both analogue outputs as well as digital coax/Toslink because of superior D/A conversion in the player (or) in the receiver/processor. B) Why an RF Demodulator is required for AC3/DD and why the output is different from the regular digital coax and Toslink outputs (I personally HATE Dolby Digital but that’s just me...). C) The footnotes could be clearer (read 'dumbed down') for the novice. D) Why digital coax or Toslink is required to play DTS LDs. Just my .02 for what its worth; thanks for making the guide to help the folks out! Best wishes, Brian |

Nice quick guide. Maybe a little section on analog/DTS/AC3 audio, which one is best, what to do when they are/are not available. Overall, great job! |
