The Cld-95 as always been my favorite player (use the composite out Fellows) the Dacs are Audiophile and the 95 is easier to put in a rack then a 97 do to the smaller Height. I will always have one in my collection and it has the Brushless Spindle Motor which Pioneer carried onto the Cld-97... So I enjoy it because its easy to move around, quiet playing, very reliable, sleek looking and Audio section is better than the 97 and also the 95 makes a Excellent stand alone CD transport due to its Spindle design...
This is just based on my experiences with the Player and my opinions,
Duane \../

Duane \../ I agree with your opinion on the CLD-95 and CDs. I even asked here about using the 95 for CDs but was advised that using a LD player as a CD player was not a good idea. I tried a Blu-ray player, BDP-320, with a decent reputation but it was no match for the 95 which just sounded better. It will always have a spot in my system.
