I recently picked up a laserdisc bundle with about 200 discs and 2 players, and one of the players I got was a Onkyo DX-V801. I was quite surprised at the picture quality being so good. Has anyone else had any experience with this player as well? All my other players are Pioneer but this one is one of the best I have used.

The website says it's a Pioneer clone. After searching around I read that it was a clone of the Pioneer CLD-2080. (But I don't know how accurate that information is.)

I have hooked it up to a hi def lcd , hi def crt, and hi def projection crt and it looks great on all of them. I am just surprised at how well it looks compared to my other players. Also the side a to b switching is really quick and this unit hardly makes any sounds.
