I picked up a mint condition CLD-D503 with 65+ HK,JPN, US Lds from a local seller for $80. The lot includes I spit on your grave uncut, a chinese ghost story, days of being wild and many other all in mint condition. I didn't know much about 503 but the seller insisted I buy it as well with the lot. After a little research it looks like its identical to european 2950 which is a highly regarded Pal/ntsc player. I am curious if 503 could be pal compatible?

There should be a badge on the back indicating the video system. If it says "NTSC", then it's NTSC. I mean, you could try playing a PAL disc, but I'm pretty confident it wouldn't work.
