They also have the same feature set limitations with LaserBarcode compatibility. As this unit begins with JL, which is December 1989, which means this unit requires the LBA-15 adapter to get LaserBarcode functionality. |

The US version ditched the BNC for video connection; it has BNC for sync, but RCA for video out. Don’t think there’s any difference between the outputs, just the connection. |

So far I found 3 versions: Pioneer LD-V800 = non-LB2 capable, no EFM out Pioneer LD-V800 = LB2, EFM out, gray Pioneer LD-V800 = LB2, EFM out, black -- sometimes AC3RF instead of EFM out Julien |
