Came across this player at my local junk store.

Anyone know anything about it? Looks to be a nice player. Didn't have a price on it yet.

Also, the same shop had a CLD-R7G for sale.

CLD-959 is a beautiful player =) If it wasnt so big and heavy I would have bought one a long time ago in Japan. according to a thread its supposed to be a cld-97/98

Yes this is a CLD-97/98, I used to have one. Only thing I didn't like was that the DNR ON/OFF button does not exist on this machine so I have to modify it to turn it off. Otherwise a great player.
