Post subject:  What's the difference between the pioneer cld 3080 vs 3380
I recently bought a Pioneer CLD 3380. It is in perfectly working condition except for the drawer, it stays open :crazy:. I kinda fixed it by removing the spring :lol: .

Anyway, can someone give me some info of this player and what the difference is with a standard cld 3080?
I can hardly find any information about this player.

The only difference I can find with the 3080 is that the 3380 has wooden panels and a multi voltage selector.

Btw, I also want to add an AC3 ouput. Does benedictus.de still sell AC3 upgrade kits?

The only thing I know is that the 3080 and CLD 95 are very similar.
The 3380 is a different player, I believe still good but a different player.

It might be very close to a 3080 but with multi voltage added, there was a multi voltage version of the cld-503 I believe the cld-570

Are you talking about the draw with the jog wheel? that's a very common problem with the 3080 I understand, unfortunately I don't know how to fix it as I never dealt with those models.

Yeah, I,m talking about that drawer. The clamping mechanism inside is made of plastic and was made poorly. The clamping mechanism is worn out and wont grab the drawer anymore, it can only be fixed by replacing the right parts. Stupid design, it was going to be worn out sooner or later. The only way to keep it working is to never use it. Cool idea, dum execution.
