Does anyone know anything about the CLD-3760KV? I see that it is a karaoke player with AC3 out as well as dual side play, made in early 1997.

There is one for an excellent price a couple of hours away, but I'm unsure if it is worth the drive. I would not be using the karaoke aspect of it.

It's a player issued in Hong Kong. It is multi-voltage, so it will work perfectly well in the US without any converters. It does not have S-Video outputs and no Digital Audio outputs (Coax or Optical), so while it will play Dolby Digital LDs, you won't be able to play DTS LDs. It will play Video CD, if that matters. IMO, unless it is an absolute steal, I don't think I would bother. The CLD-D704 is a much better option if you can find one.

Thanks for the info Blam. I'll hold off. I'm mainly wanting a player to rotate in with my CLD-99. The karaoke features seem to over complicate things. I'm looking for a simpler, single-sided player- something along the lines of a 3030. On the plus side, the service manual is available for this player if someone else decides to purchase one.
