Hello My collection is Japanese model LD-1000 x 2 LD-S1 LD-X1 LD-W 1 Previously it was LD-600, CLD-A100 (laser active) I would like to purchase Magna Box Magna Vision Remote VH 8005 I have an intention to purchase That's the question. I live in Japan and there is no information on laser vision Because it was not sold in Japan Does VH 8000 read all of CLV and CAV? According to the search, the VH 8000 will hear that there are many broken items Did you emulate Pioneer, did VH 8000 improve on VH 8005? I would like to purchase if VH 8005 can be trusted

I'm sure if it worked it would play CLV and CAV but I don't believe any are actually working. Good luck getting one.

The problem is there isn't known to be one fully working one in existence. And even if there were shipping it to Japan might damage it. Later production ones were less bad and I think I've seen one video of one sort of working but not properly.

If it works. It rarely even survived the shipping from factory to stores to home, so even if you found one that works, it would probably cease to be that way once it reached you. That LD-1000 you've got really should be good enough.

Thank you Owned LD-1000 works fine It does genuine movement If I would like to have Magna Box from the USA If you import it will cost $ 800 Knowing that it will not move I am shocked. Oh yeah, the VH-8000 is a wonderful piece of late 70's design aesthetic. It's just that as an actual player, it's an absolute piece of junk. It's like the Bricklin SV-1 of laserdisc players.
