Hey guys,

I have an Elite DVL-90. no problems so far, and its been a good player, but i have one minor annoyance. I can't seem to find a way to 'step' the picture, (like when you hit pause and go frame-by-frame) and i would think that there would be a way to do this. the frame-by-frame option with CAV discs has always been an interesting option to me, and i can't seem to find a way to do it on the DVL-90, other than trying to hit play then pause again really fast, which of course never works out right. my old CLD-V2600 would do it with no problem, but it had the knob on the front. the DVL-90 doesn't. i tried to find a picture of the remote that came with it online, but i couldn't find a clear picture. my question:
1. Am i missing something, or is there not a way to do it with the factory remote, and
2. If there is not a way to do it with the factory remote, could i use something like this:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/PIONEER-CU-CLD0 ... 53e3ec2044
to pair with it and would it work to get the 'step' functionality? any input is appreciated guys, thanks!

The remote doesn't have a step button? I have a DVL-700, the non-elite version of that player, and I remember it having a step button.

This might be a dumb question, but have you tried sliding down the "blank" portion of the remote? There should be more buttons under there and probably the step buttons.
