I was asking you so I wouldn't confuse the seller by asking him about something that doesn't even exist :P

There doesn't seem to be any on the CLD-3030 so probably not.

I didn't know until recently that a player like the 3070 only has the transit screw to hold the turn mech in place, but is not really needed on that player.
So I don't think a 3030 type would have one.
The only player I remember needing one would be an older player that would move the turntable rather than the laser.
There was talk in the past about which players really need them and which are not as important.

The CLD-3030 never had a transit screw. I know since I am the original owner of the one I have.

Also, I think the giveaway on whether a transit screw was available on a player is if there was a mention of it in the manual as well as the back of unit (not to mention that only auto reverse players seem to have a need for a transit screw). The CLD-3070 does have markings on the back regarding transit screws but oddly enough the CLD-3080 (as well as CLD-95 and CLD-97) does not have any markings at all nor do they mention the use of transit screws in the manual. So that does seem odd that the 80 series did not need transit screws but all the other models did up to the CLD-D702.
