Over spring break I am hoping to repair my CLD-V2600, which I think needs a new drive belt.

I just looked up this player. It seems to be a pro deck based on the S201!? I hope they at least beefed up something. The S20x was the most low end deck ever made by Pioneer (until the 10x years later) and it rattled like crazy from new, very similar to Laseractive too mechanically.

All the LDVs I’ve had were older and nearly military grade. My 2200 is almost silent in operation. I think they are mostly or all gear drive with screw sleds. Eternally reliable stuff. Apparently they needed to get the cost down.

Anyway, sorry to side track. Someone here will be able to figure out a place to buy the belt I’m sure. I read your other thread and I’m not totally sure that this is your fix but it can’t hurt either. Good luck.

If it's definitely the loading belt you are looking for, it appears that PacParts has them in stock....

I assume the symptom of the player is that it won't clamp the disc or the tray keeps ejecting?
