I'm repairing an RCA Ldr400 and suddenly the eject mechanism stopped working. I didn't do much to it, I had to mess around with the motor so maybe I un plugged something? But everything seems fine. Also, is anyone willing to post pictures of the inside of there machine.? Just to double check some things. Thanks

Can you be more specific on what you mean that it stopped ejecting? For example, do you hear any squeal sound or hum as you try to eject the tray.

Did you remove the clamper assembly in the process of taking the unit apart? If so, there is a peg that goes back into a plastic slider that could be in the wrong position....

I have one of these. What do you need pictures of?

If you hear nothing when powering on the unit, it sounds like you might have shorted something.

One last question. This fell off during disassembly. Where in the world does this go?. That should be all thanks (can't get image to work atm. It's a small black plastic piece with a blue lever with three wires connecting from it)

I think I know what you are referring to. Sounds like a micro switch that came off of the auto reverse turnstile toward the back of the player. Can you confirm that?

Otherwise, let me see if I can find any pics of it.

I believe so, it's near the back. Auto reverse sounds about right. I'm assuming it goes near the lens mechanism. I'll see if it fits somewhere
