Hey y'all, if you remember I was the one asking for repair advice on my LD player. Last time someone managed to find the belt number for me and I was able to replace it, now the tray works perfectly! I looked at my service manual and disassembled the case and took out the fuses, none of them look blown but I figured it was a matter of time and since I have it open I might as well. I ordered replacement fuses and some lithium grease for the tray rails, however I have a new problem, a pretty big one in fact, the spindle motor isn't working correctly. The motor itself raises and lowers with no issue, but it wont spin all, I'm hoping its an easy fix, but if anyone has any ideas I'm all ears! Thank you.

If the spindle motor isn't working correctly, it can be related to the power supply or the board where the spindle motor gets the power from. Have you checked that the cable for the spindle motor is seated properly?
