I have acquired a Pioneer CLD-D503 a while back and within the last couple of weeks, I noticed that player's lens reader unit makes a loud ticking sound. Upon further inspection, I can see the lens reader itself is vibrating up and down rapidly. I tried replacing the lens pickup unit and the same problem persists. Any suggestions or possibilities to solve this issue? Would it be cheaper to buy another laserdisc unit that works, or pin point the source of the problem and have it fixed by a professional? Thank you.
