I happen to own all three of these now as well as a CDL 704. I was wondering if Pioneer is still servicing these things on the west coast. I have an old number from the DVL 700 for pioneer Long Beach. Would it be worth it to get the three serviced as each has a foible. The CLD does not like to open the laserdisc player time to time, the 909 sometimes takes a few trys to get it to play and the 700 does not play the DVD. I know the 59 is pretty nice and it would be the one I would focus on and would probably have the easiest fix. Anyway, if not that, what else would be good. I know Rix can look at them but he is busy now and I am not going to bug him for another month, lol.

I would love to but we are talking 50 dollars there per machine and 50 back. He is on the other side of the country. I might have him check out the 59 as it does not weigh that much.
