That would be the latest/most recent model from NEC.

HV-MD1000      1990年4月
HV-MD1100      1990年4月
HV-MD1200      1991年4月
HV-MD3000T     1991年11月
HV-MD3100T     1992年12月
HV-MD5000T     1993年7月
HV-MD5000TX    1995年10月

Sadly the auction mentions that it doesn't power on.

I noticed the BS Channel section on the remote control, I wonder is that the same satellite service/system used by the Nintendo Satellaview way back when? If so, and if it has the decoder already on board, could you theoretically connect your Super Famicom and Satellaview combo directly to the NEC Decoder?

Just a suggestion; but perhaps people who'd already found this and were interested might appreciate it if extra attention wasn't drawn until the auction was completed??

That's why I only posted it now, and not last week when it was listed.

Hi Julien,

Though as I post now the auction is still not finished!!!

I suppose mostly those interested in this kind of thing are constantly on the lookout and they all saw it anyway; though it has been my experience in life that there's a sizeable group of people who are too lazy and/or disorganised but will quickly jump on a bandwagon when it's handed to them.

Lots of MUSE decoders have the satellite tuner built in; MUSE was primarily an early HD broadcast system (via satellite) in Japan. It was adapted into LD but with very limited success. I super-seriously doubt any of them incorporate anything Nintendoish at all....

Last time I posted AFTER the auction was over and it reached (Panasonic) over $850 anyway.
I think whoever is looking for these will quickly find them since they are mostly posted in the "LD Player" section. Hard to miss!

From the bidding list, it seems these are all proxy bidders, I imagine the usual suspects on the MUSE YAJ -> eBay trade/arbitrage.

I know who won the Panasonic decoder and I was interested in this decoder. However I won an auction for the last generation of Muse decoder the Panasonic TU-PH30. I have waited 10 years for this one to surface.
