They really don't come up very often.

Looks like it's meant to be racked in a studio. XLR plugs for 4 audio channels + BNC for all video out.

That looks a serious bit of kit although just a little bit out of reach for me also but it’s nice to dream! I guess my Sony MSC 4000 will just have to do for now. I’d be keen to know how this Panasonic compares to the Pioneer HM-D101 or Panasonic TU-AHD100?

I have one in my garage, it certainly is a hard one to get, I got lucky. have yet to give it a proper test run.

I’ve got all the “great” muse decoders in my collection, this is hands down the best. Not positive but judging by the XLR connectors I suspect it is studio equipment.

It's on my wishlist now to replace my MSC-4000 but... low hopes!

Not sure what the ドロップアウト/Dropout (left, below MUSE 2) is for.

Both from 1990, very possible.

But retail Sony MST-1000 JPY 1,8000,000 and professional Panasonic TW-HMD310HD only JPY 800,000?

Maybe we have the "end-of-life" price for the Panasonic, not the initial price.
