Just Pulled the Trigger on what i hope to be a genuine Upgrade, POLK AUDIO MONITOR SERIES 5 Jr;







Grabbed them on Good Faith in POLK AUDIO, as my current Stereo pair, POLK R10 Minis, have done nothing less than Impress since i found them for dirt cheap at a thrift back in mid-2019;

I've never had any of these speakers but I guarantee you 100% these will be better. They are 3 way not 2, larger not bookshelf and will just overall be better.
The smaller ones you have I'm sure are great but side by side you will never go back.

Test them with some light soft music to hear the differences and you will be amazed.
I have a Paul Williams go to CD to listen to my speakers, makes them shine with the very slight under produced tracks on that album.
You can hear the tape hiss, you can hear the fingers sliding on the guitar strings, you can hear everything on good speakers, once you get 3,4,5 way speakers its
just overall better.

I think these are two way speakers with a passive radiator.

Ah possibly, but still better than the smaller ones he owns.

Relocated the aftermarket/repro Logobadges... to more closely reflect the Advert Samples shown on the Owner's Manual;

the RD-0194 series Tweeter upgrades i ordered up had gotten held up in transit through the weekend... thanks to USPS.
they came rolling in to my PO today, (11/18/24) and i couldn't pick them up and install them until the Afternoon.

BOY, Do they ever Make a Difference... like a 1000% Improvement, Seriously;
