I would invest the money into a dedicated phono amp. No matter how cheap and basic it is it will still beat the built in phono amp in any receiver.

Agree with substance. Dedicated components are going to outperform an "everything in a box" solution in most cases. It also makes upgrading specific components in the future much easier. Just got a new HoloAudio May KTE edition DAC into my stereo system. Really loving the sound so far.
