Must be pushing 60 if its the same guy, I think I was 20 when I heard it.

Edit: just searched and it is the same guy, damn can't believe you can still do techno, rave and stuff at his age.

Yeah, it's pretty wild to hear they're still at it. I remember first hearing them way back in elementary school, whenever the hell that was.

I actually found three of their albums in the trash years back

Boutique means small run with high features. Like a 45RPM version of Transformer with no cover art, even then $50 is about the high end. Is this three discs or more at least? I know nothing about it. Is it new or just the TV OST? Even now $65 buys a pretty good about of wax usually.

there's different varients. I have no idea how many copies were made. I'ts mixes of various things I think from the Rebuild films so not the TV OST.

Got this the other day. Been after a smart trainer for a while now to replace the traditional wheel-on trainer I borrowed from a friend while there was (and still is) a global shortage on trainers and cycling components.

The difference between a 'dumb' and smart trainer is quite something. Especially the direct drive vs wheel-on factor. It's a lot quieter but also the ERG mode feels really strange too, a lot more like being on the road outside? The thing I like most, so far, is being able to connect the trainer to my bike computer. You can then load up a ride you completed outside and re-ride that same route indoors with all of the same gradients and so on. It's quite remarkable. Yet to try it on Trainerroad or Zwift yet but looking forward to it.

Great converters for my retro systems.
Pound cable I am using strictly for my PS one. Brilliant results.

Last week I got an Onkyo HD805 HD-DVD player (XA2) clone. It's a beauty (all black, no plastic) and a beast (heavy, no plastic). $100 shipped from an AVS member, which is about what a "Parts/Repair" XA2 costs, and anywhere from 1/2 to 1/4 what a working XA2 sells for.

i just recently took the time to open up, clean out and tighten up tolerances on my original U.S. SATURN controller
in preparation for another run through Magic Knight RAYEARTH.

MUCH better handling now, tight and responsive as it should be... :D

What is this, like some kind of "Hoarders Anonymous" thread?

If so, I like it.

A few days ago I managed to get my hands on a very special piece that I kicked myself for parting with. Honestly, I thought I'd never see it again.

Incidentally, while my friend was dropping off the Sansui, he also handed me this:

Both of them will likely need a full restoration. The Sansui I know for sure needs at least filter caps, because DC offset is extremely high. I found a fellow on the 'bay who sells restoration kits, so I think at some point I'm going to work up the nerve to dive in.

Some of those early Sansui receivers are fully bugged, as in no PCB. That would be a trip. That one being quad though it has to be too new for that.
