After taxes and shipping he wants over $800 for this player. I put a bid in but not going to put an insane amount for it. I know my bid will be beaten but I think most people are smart enough to not pay what he wants. The cld-95 isn't a bad looking player but this player shows cosmetic flaws and I wonder how much better the picture quality really is compared to my cld-53. Gorgeous player but this has cosmetic flaws and I'm sorry over $800 is a dumb a** price for a laserdisc player. Don't care how rare it is. My cld-53 is a beauty too and I only paid 200 bucks for that plus 30 or so for the remote control. I didn't even put much down on my bid because I'm not going to pay anywhere close to 500 bucks for this crap. It's overpriced as far as I'm concerned and while this player might have a good picture quality it still lacks ac3. I jokingly put a bid on this but I know with the insane price tag he has at buy it now he just wants more than any sane person is willing to bid on it.

If you think it's above real value, just pass and ignore.

Wait for another one.

Search for CLD-95 on the forum.

Ex: Going price for Pioneer Elite CLD-95

This player does not have a remote and some scratches.
The DACs are not bad (AD1862, multibit) but it does not have AC3RF out.

In the end it's how much you are willing to spend but I'd pass on this one.

I agree the guy is ripping people off and that's exactly why it won't sell for what he's looking to sell it for. You are being too nice Julian because you might be paranoid that he or she might visit this forum. Well, I'm sorry to tell them that it's a complete rip off. Also I just verified with an alt ebay account by pushing the bid up that his or her reserve is ridiculous too. It's a nice looking laserdisc player but I question if it's even much of an upgrade video wise form my Elite cld-53 which also has a pretty cool face plate. This format can only look so good for obvious reasons since it's limited to some degree. Anyways GOOD LUCK to the seller. Maybe some sucker will pay him or her 500-700 bucks for something in the bidding section for a player with no remote control and has some cosmetic issues looking like someone left a heavier laserdisc player ontop of it. I also don't understand why people are still selling things on Ebay. They take an insane 13 percent of the profit after the sale correct? When I bought my Elite CLD-53 I bought directly from the seller and thank god they didn't refuse to send it but they made 100 percent of the profit. I can understand Ebay needs to make money because the listing is up on their website but 13 percent is crazy. What does lddb take only like 3 percent? I find it crazy the percentage Ebay takes. Probably why so many things on Ebay are expensive.

Nah, if I had a 95 I wouldn't sell it for less than what he's asking for it.
Just too many parts players on ebay and other places for sale now and very hard to find a true working player.

Also I just wouldn't be selling it to begin with.

All included, a LOT more, see: eBay to phase out Paypal for Payoneer?

It's about 21% for me.

My wife was listening to a podcast where the guys hadn't been on ebay in over 5 years.
They need to ramp up their customer accusation drastically.

His reserve failed. No one wants to pay him what he wants. Only 3 people pushed it up and no one wants to pay what he wants.
