For me it's not so much the undressed part, it's the part where tends to go off on a tangent to repost the same old photos too.

Got TWO of these legendary classics coming my way over the next two or three days, New Old Stock from Wise Guys Hobbies; https://www.ebay.com/str/wiseguyshobbiesllc One of the Two copies arrived earlier today. Authentic Vintage Experience... right on down to the strong musty odor so very reminiscent of the fully-finished Basement (two complete houses in one!!) in my Grandma's large 50's/60's-era house that i hung around down in whenever we visited, since the Cousin that gave me the ROBOTECH CHANGERS VEXAR that kicked me down the MACROSS road to begin with had his room down there in the late-80's. So... this wonderful old kit is a serious Personal Blast from the Past... in more ways than one;

Since this topic is a combination of media/Laser Discs people have bought as well as other items, I will post both.
My latest Laser Disc (in late September 2023) is Manhattan. I decided I should have it because it is the first letterboxed/widescreen Laser Disc released, a kind of under-the-radar event (at least to me). The first well-known widescreen release was the Criterion Collection release of Invasion Of The Body Snatchers in 1988-89 (and I bought that immediately for US$75 when my hourly pay was less than $20, the most I ever spent on any disc/set, because I was so excited about the concept of proper aspect ratio). Manhattan had been released in 1985 or 1986, and its "black bars" are actually gray from what the cover says. This purchase is what caused me to go back to fixing my broken player(s), and then to join this site, yay!
Beside lots of Laser Discs and several players (of course), I have ham radio equipment, two pinball machines, lots of Blu-Ray, HD DVD, and UHD discs, some early Beta and VHS VCRs plus a high-end later version from each format, old phones, a jukebox, a phone booth, and a bunch or early black-and-white and color TV sets. And many other random shiny objects.
"You cannot take it with you, but you cannot take money with you either, so enjoy it now."
