I run into them every so often. A few weeks back my wife and son bought a katana and a claymore. They are reproductions but are pretty decent. They can be used for real. Now, getting back to my find. Guy was selling a ww2 Japanese Calvary Sword for 120 bucks. Beautiful weapon and it came with the sheath. Pretty awesome find. Anyway, pretty far away from LD discussions.

This is a calvary sword, just a Japanese one. Made in about 1920 or so. Totally cool weapon. I have a katana, just not a real one. I will get one one day when I learn how to take care of the one I have. Thanks for the site though. I will check it out.
