Seriously. There are no more words. This film looks absolutely EPIC.
Why aren't film trailers made like this any more? I don't even care if the film itself is crap. I've watched the trailer at least a dozen times already today.
Turn up the volume to MAXIMUM and just enjoy.
If I saw that playing in a cinema I think I'd break down in tears of utter joy while searching my pockets for any spare change and begging the person in the box office on my knees, pleading to prebook a seat for the first showing.
More trailers need to be made that sell a film as well as this one does. It has absolutely EVERYTHING you could ever want from a film trailer. It's tremendous. Magnificent. I need that film as quickly as possible.
For anyone interested (how could you not be?) those beautiful souls at Umbrella have put out a Blu with a comic book. The film is a brand new 4K scan too.
Didn't even hesitate. My order is on their ledger ready to ship when they reopen on January 10th.
Another on my list, unfortunately I will be getting a DVD if I can find for a cheaper price as I don't need another format to collect.
But see that there are 2 versions on DVD, one is a 2009 2 disc set and the other is my guess a new Australian DVD so it should come up cheap. Love the explosions of the crouching body near the end.

That watch pile is increasing!
I would go for the Umbrella DVD over the 2009 Code Red DVD.
One, because it's a totally new print with new extras as well as the 2009 ones. Second, the 2009 DVD appears to be very expensive, over $100+.
Yeah, I've actually tried to stop buying films over the past year but you keep posting some interesting stuff. And also finding interesting stuff on my own like that Beach Red, it was mentioned on the commentary of The Naked Prey CC DVD that I watched a few months ago.
I feel I need to tighten the belt on most of my stuff but this one looks really interesting and fun.
You don’t have to collect “a format”. You can just buy movies.
OK I won't buy this movie on Bluray but will consider it on DVD, and I won't buy any films on streaming either.
Rephrasing your OCD won’t make it any better. All this stuff plays in the same machine. I don’t get it. You don’t even have to actually know that it even is a BR. If it’s not expensive, and its the best one, the one with the best picture and features and the one that’s currently in print…that’s the one ANYONE BUT YOU would buy. Going out of your way to pay more (or nearly the same) for an inferior master on an inferior format just to…save money? Not get “screwed” by “another format”? You’re only screwing yourself with this labyrinthine crazy person collector logic.
I bought my mother a region free BR deck. It plays everything and was like $150. This way I can buy her any movie I feel like at a whim and not have to consider compatibility even a little. As long as it’s 5”, it plays. She doesn’t even get what “region 2 DVD” even is exactly but it doesn’t matter. I bought her a UK copy of Toast of London and it plays, that’s what matters. She doesn’t have a collection of R1 DVD, R2 DVD, DTS DVD, single layer Blu-ray blah blah blah, she just has a movie shelf. Some of us could learn from that sort of practical movie fan behavior.

Don't misunderstand reality I do own a Bluray player.
With my OCD, yes I will have to have a special shelf with all the bluray discs on them and just don't want to add more s**t to my house.
But its OK, I just don't want to have bluray discs in my house, do I actually have some, yes, does it keep me up at night, NO.
This movie happens to be different but usually I can get the DVD for 1-8 bucks while the bluray is always starting at 12 bucks or more. So I'm being cheap and will wait for the film at a cheaper price.
Then I guess I answered it already, its me being cheaper than OCD
150 quid is great value for a Blu Ray deck that is both R0 thru R8 and A, B and C. I had to buy a special remote control for my player in order to get region free DVD playback. I then bought the modchip for Blu A, B and C a lot later on and that wasn't exactly cheap (and a real pain in the arse to solder in too, it took a few attempts to get right and at the risk of bricking my player too). Well worth it though in the long run, no fear that a disc won't work or worse.
@rein-o if you can, spring for the Blu but if not then the Umbrella 2021 DVD will do the job too. I wouldn't bother with the Code Red release, especially for the money being asked for it. Their OOP DVD's seem to be a real pain to find at reasonable prices. The Last Chase (another Code Red title), for example, was a nightmare to find at a sensible price (let alone to find one for sale and the pot luck chance the disc for sale is the replaced disc and not the recalled one with sync issues).
Yeah I would hate to get another player, I think I already own 4 DVD players and one of those is at my parents since my father said he wanted one but never used it.
So 3 with the 1 bluray its just a lot, and the 4 LD players, CD player turntable ugh too much crap in my house, looks like a thrift store. Will keep an eye out for the one you mention, also looking for that Oily Maniac, need that one after always loving Inframan and owning that one for years now.
Big news in the world of ordering tat online today.
So Umbrella said they dispatched my order but their checkout cart should never have showed express shipping as an option (what can I say, I can't wait to see Stunt Rock). Got the shipping refunded in full and those sexy lil Aussies tossed my parcel in the back of the nearest DHL van, gratis! Lovely folks at Umbrella.
TL;DR don't order express shipping from Umbrella right now as it's ceased due to those pesky germs riddling our world for the past 2 years.
Rather than start a new thread I thought to chuck this here. Another trailer I watched for the first time for a film I've never seen before.
I think this is another film I'd have lost my mind over had I seen a trailer for it in the cinema. I reckon this would have been great to play back to back with a Sartana film, or My Name Is Pecos. Blu Ray incoming.
