I was wondering what 1/2 gram of moonrock might be worth. I am curious as I have seen a small piece and think it is worth a lot, well, I dont have it but am just curious as it was in a museum. I just want to know what those guys paid for it. It is so small, lol. Totally off the subject I know.

I saw one price and thought it was a misprint. It was like 250000 for 1 grain, i mean seriously.

If you can get that sort of offer for 1 grain, I would take the money and run as fast as you can!!

It was for some bits being auctioned off a few years ago, I think the total was 4 grains and it went for like a half a million. I mean I want to get into that business.

Hey, it is just as viable as the US going back to the moon, at least I could think of a reason to do it ;)

well at least whoever paid that has something in their hands.
when they had the russian space stuff for auction back in the mid 1990s they sold a moon vehicle, but it was still on the moon and all you received was the papers saying that you owned it but if someone else got to the moon before you and took it it was not yours anymore:wtf:
