Good day yazorin, I have the ''Camelot 1967 with richard harris'' I to really like this cover. Criterion's Laurence Olivia ''Richard III 1950's'' of which I also have has a drawn picture on the front. I purchased both of these brand new. Regards

But I didn't like the acting much sorry. I guess im a bit bias cuz my favorite arthur film is actually th sci fi mini series "merlin" from the 90's

The actual artist for the Bakshi (1978) Lord of the Rings movie poster was Tom Jung.
Brothers Hildabrandt did quite a few "LOTR" themed works that are epic ! A great example of their work is the cover art for J.R.R. Tolkien's "A Complete Guide to Middle-Earth". A few others "An Unexpected Party","SHELOB","Goldberry",The "Balrog"........ Could go on as their are many to admire......
Come on yazorin, what is not to like about John Boorman's epic Excalibur !?! All those young then, old now actors had to start somewhere ! Many pearls of wisdom sewn into that tale. One of my all time favorites as well. It has been a few years now, better key up the Player........
Would Rollerball be considered as a "hand Painted" cover ?
Thanks for the thread yazorin...

I have some movie posters that are at least 4 by 6 so 4 by 8 isnt much of a stretch. A Few More Boy and his Dog, A (1975) [I5071]Heavy Metal (1981) [LVD 10158]German cover is the best, once again I think Boris Heavy Metal (1981) [02.10158]Soylent green is pretty cool, some of the James Bond stuff is pretty neat. Superman has a few nice covers. Forbidden Planet - Japanese version. Most of the older sci fi movies have painted covers. Some dude named Ricardo or something did a lot. I dont in particular like his stuff but he did a bunch. Inner Space is probably one of the best he did.

Killer piece, i have to ask my brother what it was painted on, i don't believe it was canvas but masonite board of some type.
